Esta ocasión, y como no suele ser mi costumbre, hablaré de una banda de metal progresivo en español, que no sólo me parece una buena propuesta, sino que también es un plus que tenga sello de exportación.
Cuando tuvimos la oportunidad de filmar un cortometraje sobre la importancia de usar condones, esta banda proporcionó su música para ambientar dicha grabación. Caustica X se volvió nuestra salvación en tiempos de austeridad musical y demandas por derechos de autor.
Es una agrupación más o menos recientes, nació a principios del año pasado (léase 2007) y básicamente propone una combinación de ritmos para mantener una variedad sonora en su trabajo.
Aunque en algún tiempo pudimos haber visto a estos chicos en vivo y en directo en bares como Bull Pool, Maracaná, San Francisco, el Anexo, Black Room (Monster Bar) y Cueva de Lobos, ahora el grupo ha alcanzado nuevos níveles y más festivales como el Progressive Attack Fest, Hikari Fest , Rock Seasons, New Rock Festival.
Caustica X está formada por Gibran Granados (Voz/Guitarra), Dante Granados (Guitarra), Fernando Dorantes (Bateria/Voz) y Pedro Vera (Bajo). Si les late su música, pueden contactarlos. Probablemente, y si la vida no nos falla, tendremos entrevista con esta banda.

hola man esta banda es muy buen la vdd tiene mucho futuro y chacando cada uno de sus integrantes son muy buenos y virtuosos como debe de ser el preogresivo eso es muy chido la recomiendo al 100% espero puedas dar mas info sobre la banda.
este tipo de bandas son las que deben de tener mas espacio y oportunidades, lo ultimo que escuche de ellos fue que estubieron en el circo volador en un concurso llamado rock olympus donde quedaron en el 2º lugar de 254 bandas a nivel nacional y creo que estaran en el bar bull pool en proximo 31 de enero de 2009.
